Waiting for Godot

Waiting for Godot

Inspired by Beckett’s iconic play, this painting explores the moment after the waiting ends. A classical bust, time embedded in its gaze, sprouts a red tree—organic, irrational, alive. From its branches hang two hats: symbols of Estragon and Vladimir, now gone, having chosen action over stagnation. It’s a reflection on the human urge to seek meaning, and the courage it takes to create it."

The Flight Of Icarus

The Flight Of Icarus

Often remembered for his fall, Icarus is rarely celebrated for his ascent. In this painting, I reimagine him not as a cautionary figure, but as a symbol of bold ambition—the audacity to rise. Cloaked in deep blue and gilded wings, he flies upward into an ocean of sky, defying gravity and fate in a moment of triumph.
