Magazin Gorelski

A visual identity for a boutique homeware brand rooted in warmth and tradition.

The Story

Magazin Gorelski is a homeware brand that blends classic European charm with a soft, romantic aesthetic—somewhere between vintage Parisian interiors and the delicate calm of an afternoon tea.

When designing the brand identity, I focused on capturing that feeling: elegant but not distant, warm but not overly decorative. The logo features a balanced contrast—“magazin” in a clean, understated style above “Gorelski,” which carries more character and presence. Together, they evoke the image of a boutique that’s curated, timeless, and quietly confident. The color palette is central to the mood: Dark Teal for depth and elegance Dusty Rose for a touch of softness Warm Beige and Ivory to keep the atmosphere gentle and inviting The overall direction leans into textures—soft fabrics, porcelain, aged gold—and small details that make a space feel intentional and lived-in.

This project was about more than just aesthetics; it was about creating a visual identity that feels like a memory. Something familiar, comforting, and beautiful to come home to.

Magazin Gorelski Final Logo
Designing the Magazin Gorelski logo was about finding quiet elegance. I wanted the contrast between the delicate “magazin” and the bold “Gorelski” to reflect a sense of calm confidence—like stepping into a thoughtfully curated interior. Every element, from the serif choice to the deep teal color, was selected to evoke warmth, refinement, and timeless charm.
